Can I get a residency permit in Armenia without forming a company?
Yes. Temporary residency in Armenia can be obtained on grounds of employment, property ownership, family ties, or ethnic Armenian ancestry — none of which require company registration.
How long does the Armenia residency permit take?
The standard process takes 10–20 working days after document submission. MOSTAR prepares all documents and liaises with the Passport and Visa Department.
Can I get UAE residency without forming a company?
Yes. The Virtual Working Visa and Golden Visa are available independently of UAE company registration. MOSTAR advises on the right visa type for your situation.
What is the difference between the Virtual Working Visa and Golden Visa in the UAE?
The Virtual Working Visa is a 1-year UAE residency for remote workers and freelancers. The Golden Visa is a 2-year long-term residency for investors, entrepreneurs, and qualified professionals. MOSTAR fee: $1,000 for VWV (includes first state fee), $500 for Golden Visa (all government fees excluded).
Does getting a residency permit in Armenia make me a tax resident?
Not automatically. Armenian tax residency is determined by the 183-day rule — physical presence of 183 or more days in a calendar year. Holding a permit alone does not trigger Armenian tax obligations.
Can I get both Armenia residency and UAE residency at the same time?
Yes. Holding a residency permit in Armenia does not prevent you from also holding UAE residency. MOSTAR handles both applications and advises on the tax implications of dual residency.
