Common questions
Who can get Armenian temporary residency?
Foreign nationals who own an Armenian company, are employed by an Armenian company, have made qualifying investments, or have family ties to Armenian residents or citizens.
Can I register a company and apply for residency at the same time?
Yes. MOSTAR handles both in sequence — company registration first (1 day), then residency permit application. Combined engagement available at a fixed bundled price.
How long does the permit take to process?
10–15 working days from submission. MOSTAR plans your Yerevan visit to allow for this timeline, with collection on a second visit or by arrangement.
Does Armenian residency affect my tax residency?
Holding a permit does not automatically change your tax residency — spending 183+ days/year in Armenia does. MOSTAR advises on the tax implications before you apply.
Can my family members also get residency?
Yes. Spouses and minor children can apply on family reunion grounds. MOSTAR handles the full family application. Additional fee per family member.
